| Ok, I loved this story....and when i first saw the banner i didnt feel like reading it cus i dont like Xander so much....but then i saw the doberman...i have a doberman pup she is a sweet heart...of course i got her cus i thought she would be a good mean looking dog...nope, nope, nope...she has a broken leg cus of another dog at the park....so anyway i start to read and im really sad the dog had to die and all...but oter than that i loved this story....it was kinda angsty with all of the Spike scared and all..i liked that...it makes the story that much more intresting..... Keep up the great work have that second part up soon!!!! | |||
| Glad you like it. I felt bad about killing the poor dog too, but I wanted Xander to kill something that wouldn't weight on him as heavily as a human while still being something he'd have bitched at Spike for. Think the doggie worked well for that - even if it ended up more funny than anything. I don't like Xander either, so I doubt I'll ever write him as anything as an ass or someone who has to change significantly from who he was in the show. (Preferably during a nice harsh lesson  )I'm trying to get the second part done but as you prolly saw on the main page, I'm pretty busy right now. Hopefully it'll be better once I'm all moved in... | |||

| Excellent fic. I can't wait for the next part. The showing of both Buffy's and Xander's realizations was well done. I liked the showing of Riley's blind bigotry as well. They should've outed the Initative as big time evil on the show instead of just having Walsh and Adam as the bad guys. | |||
| Thanks! The way they never actually outed the Initiative as evil is something that always drove me crazy, too. Don't know what they thought there... Since the topic of the Initiative is one of my pet peeves, there will be an interlude between the two book that will deal with them. Hope you'll like it. | |||
